Comprehensive test management was an important pillar for the commissioning of the various routes and sub-projects.
NEXTRAIL is responsible for the entire test management of the ÖBB. The tasks include creating test specifications as well as carrying out tests in a laboratory setting and in the field. In addition, the test results are analysed, evaluated and documented for sub-projects, which are divided into the following main areas: support of SIGNON Deutschland GmbH in extension of project support for ETCS Level 2, block compaction for new lines Vienna–St Pölten, ETCS Level 2 ÖBB – Unterinntal and ETCS Level 2 ÖBB – freight rail bypass St Pölten
