Technical support for the development and integration of ATO into the DB system architecture as part of the project Digitalen Knoten Stuttgart
For the development and integration of Automatic Train Operation (ATO GoA2) at Deutsche Bahn as part of the project Digitalen Knoten Stuttgart, NEXTRAIL is working closely with colleagues from Deutsche Bahn to create key technical and process-related documents and support the implementation of the project.
With a focus on the trackside components, NEXTRAIL has developed the specification documents based on the state of international standardization and derived further documents and processes. In addition, NEXTRAIL is developing the safety and security documentation and coordinating this with internal experts. Nextrail also supports Deutsche Bahn by adapting regulations during the operational introduction. NEXTRAIL also supports the testing, commissioning and approval activities throughout the entire implementation process, contributing many years of experience from numerous technology projects.
Overall, an overarching approach is being pursued between the vehicle and track side in order to ensure successful integration at an early stage.
