The pilot project ‘Highly Automated Driving in the Stuttgart Area’ will be implemented in the Stuttgart Digital Hub (DKS) for suburban and regional transport by 2030. NEXTRAIL is providing support in defining the architecture and requirements for the implementation of Automated Rail@DKS (ATO Centre), with the central system elements Automated Train Operation (ATO), Digital Register (DR) and Capacity Traffic Management System (CTMS) in the Stuttgart Digital Hub (DKS) project.
Together with those responsible for the system, documentation is being compiled in accordance with CENELEC EN5012x throughout life cycle phases 1-7, and development is being supported concerning RAMS analyses, software consulting/process consulting, validation and architecture work. The methodology is continuously coordinated with the client so that not only are the quality management requirements met, but the connection to integration, verification and validation can also be realised. The comprehensive support for the RAMS documents includes deliverables such as risk analysis, CSM, safety plan and basic integrity assessment.

Special features
Together with the system managers, documentation is compiled in accordance with CENELEC EN5012x throughout the life cycle phases 1-7, and development is supported for RAMS analyses, software and process consulting, validation, and architecture work.
