Start your job as a systems engineer and accompany railway companies from all over Europe. Together with your team, you will shape the course of the digital transformation in rail transport and ensure safe and reliable railway systems in the present and future.
Your tasks
As a railway systems engineer, you can look forward to exciting and varied fields of responsibility in the development of future railway systems. Based on your previous experience and previous specialisation, you will be able to advance the rail sector in the following areas.
- For equipment projects in systems such as ETCS, TMS, CBTC, ATO and DSTW, you create feasibility studies, innovative concepts, precise specifications and guidelines.
- You plan and carry out acceptance, system and integration tests with which you contribute to safe and well-functioning rail traffic.
- Identify potential hazards using risk and hazard analyses in accordance with FMEA, FTA and other methods and help to evaluate them.
- With holistic process consulting, you continuously develop the quality and safety of our clients’ products as part of their projects.
- You design and analyse system architectures and system interfaces.
Your qualifications
- With at least three years of relevant professional experience in the rail industry, you have already gained a wealth of experience and gained a comprehensive picture of the railway sector.
- Along the way, you have already gained technical and operational knowledge in the field of control and safety technology.

Thanks to your good command of German and English, you can communicate effectively with our national and international clients.
- You are familiar with EN 50126 standards, TSI and/or national regulations on rail systems.
